Our presentations are fun, engaging, and interactive. We provide an enjoyable experience for our audience, while instilling a greater understanding of these unique animals and the incredible lives they live.

Our programs are designed to be age appropriate.

A typical program will include between ten and fifteen different kinds of fascinating reptiles and amphibians, which generally include frogs, a salamander, turtles, lizards, and snakes(We welcome your suggestions on which animals will be used in our presentation) .

During the birthday program the birthday child will have the opportunity to feed a tortoise, and can help hold a snake or other reptile while you take their picture.

Our audience is given an opportunity to touch some of the animals after which we provide hand sanitizer.

Deluxe Gator Party with kids holding Burmese Python

We Bring The Zoo To You Birthday Programs:
We offer three birthday program packages. All three programs last 45 to 60 minutes and include 10 to 15 amphibians, turtles, lizards, and snakes.

The Basic Birthday presentation is $120.00 and includes a 5 to 6 foot boa constrictor. Presentations to groups of more than thirty guests are $135.00 for a one hour presentation. There is an additional mileage charge of 50 cents per mile over 120 miles round trip from Owatonna, MN.

The Deluxe Gator Party presentation includes the same animals as above but also includes one of our 3 foot long alligators ("Allie" or "Sallie") and a 9 foot python instead of a boa constrictor. This program is $150 for up to fifty guests and $175 for more than fifty guests. Mileage charges may also apply.

The Premium Python Party presentation includes the same animals as the Deluxe Gator party but instead of the normal color 9 foot Burmese python we can bring the 9 foot albino python "Sun Beam". Included in the group of animals is an Alligator Snapping Turtle that is 20 inches long and a lizard from South America called a Tegu that is 2 feet long. This program is $190 for up to fifty guests and $215 for more than fifty guests. The birthday child will receive one free party favor box and each child at the party receives a RAD Zoo temporary tattoo. Mileage charges may also apply. This program is subject to animal and presenter availability.

Our programs can be held outside if the temperature is between 60 and 85 degrees and there is a shaded area, otherwise the program needs to be held indoors in a temperature controlled building.

We are available from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. year round.

Have Your Party At The Zoo:
We are located at 3297 County Road 45 N in Owatonna, MN

Basic Party includes 1 hour in the birthday tent, admission for up to 15 people, and a visit with a tortoise that the birthday child can feed and either a boa constrictor or an alligator that the kids can touch. $140

Deluxe Party includes 1 hour in the birthday tent, admission for up to 20 people, and a visit from 4 live reptiles and a printed 4x6 photo of the birthday child holding one of the reptiles. $175

Birthday Time Slots - There will be a show at the stage going on during each time slot that the kids can watch. We provide the animals - you provide the food. Call to reserve your spot today.
Fridays: 4 to 6pm
Saturdays: 11am to 1pm / 1:30 to 3:30pm / 4 to 6pm
Sundays: 1 to 3pm / 3:30 to 5:30pm

We maintain the highest standards of safety in animal handling and do not use venomous animals in our presentations. We are happy to provide references and proof of insurance upon request.

Poison Dart Frog Party Favor Boxes

If you are searching for the perfect gift for your little reptile lover or for some fun reptile and amphibian themed party favors for your guests we have some excellent options shown below. We have five different party favor boxes to choose from. Each 4" x 6" box includes small items like "RAD ZOO" temporary tattoos, dinosaur stickers, small plastic and stretchy reptiles, and candy, and a larger item such as a small stuffed animal or a rubber snake. The stuffed animals, pens, and rubber snakes come in assorted colors so each box is slightly different. Some of the smaller items may be substituted, due to availability, for items of equal value.

We provide free delivery with a RAD Zoo birthday program.

Cancelation Policy : If you need to cancel or reschedule a program please let us know as soon as possible. If you cancel/reschedule at least one week out from your program date there is no cancelation fee. If it is within the week leading up to the program there is a $25 fee. No cancelation notice will result in a full charge.
