Our Zoo is Now Open to the Public in Owatonna, Minnesota!
We are located on the east frontage road of I-35 just north of exit 43.
We are now open seven days a week. We have over 100 species
of reptiles and amphibians on exhibit, including salamanders, newts, sirens, frogs, toads, turtles, tortoises,
lizards, snakes, and crocodilians. We have an 11 and 1/2 foot alligator on exhibit
named "Big Al" who came from Florida and is now at our zoo. We are hoping to
eventually have a video playing at the zoo for the guests to watch how they caught and loaded up "Big Al"
for his trip to Minnesota.
Starting in November, on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays you can rent our birthday room to have your child's party at the zoo. We are hoping to offer an environmentally friendly party package option with plates, cups, napkins, and utensils made from corn.
We have shows on the weekends and after the show you can pay to have your picture taken with one of the animals from the show. There will also be a small gift shop with reptile related toys, books, magazines, and gifts.
Admission prices and birthday room rental prices are posted below.

Birthday Party At The Zoo
Basic Party - includes 1 hour in the birthday tent, admission for up to 15 people, and a visit with a tortoise that the birthday child can feed and either a boa constrictor or an alligator that the kids can touch. $140
Deluxe Party - includes 1 hour in the birthday tent, admission for up to 20 people, and a visit from 4 live reptiles and a printed 4x6 photo of the birthday child holding one of the reptiles. $175
Birthday Time Slots - There will be a show at the stage going on during each birthday time slot that the kids can watch
Fridays: 4 to 6pm
Saturdays: 11 to 1pm / 1:30 to 3:30pm / 4 to 6pm
Sundays: 1 to 3pm / 3:30 to 5:30pm
Annual Members receive a 10% discount off the party when booking a birthday party at the zoo.
